2009 is Winding Down-
This year has been a fantastic year at the Academy! We have had so many students and we are happy to report that all of our graduates have successful careers.
And with the introduction of our Pet Entrepreneurship program, we are seeing huge growth in the amount of interest for people wanting to start their own business.
I have enjoyed all of our students this year as we always do. I love getting to know everyone and becoming friends with them, and get excited when they graduate. But I also get a little sad when they leave, as we always seem to have many laughs and fun stories.
Check back often to hear about new and fun things happening at the Academy. January already promises to be an awesome month with 4 new students starting. Can’t wait for your first day Ira, Suzanne, Cliff and Andrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enrolling in Petropolis’s Professional Trainer and Behavior Specialist was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I learned a lot from their comprehensive courses and now have the knowledge and confidence to start my career. Rob Schenberg , the head  trainer, takes time to ensure the students comprehension before moving to the next level and takes great interest in his students and becomes friends with each of them. I choose the Petropolis Training Academy because I had heard that Rob is the best in the business. After my experiences here, I’d have to agree with that. In addition, Petropolis offers small class sizes with an emphasis on the training aspects that will allow you to be successful upon completion of the program. When I graduate, I plan on starting my own business in my hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Thanks to the great instruction I received here, I have the confidence and skills to be successful.

Hi, my name is Allisa . I am currently a student at the Petropolis Academy of Dog Training. I chose Petropolis over the other training schools because it offers more than just obedience training in its program. We are educated in animal behavior, service dog training, narcotic dog training and so much more, which leaves career options open. My interest is in training service dogs, and this has been a very good experience and one that I am really enjoying.

I chose Petropolis for its reputation in the Dog Training field. The instructor Rob Schenberg is highly regarded in his field and in the short time that I have been here I can see why.  Rob is very patient with the dogs and students while also being encouraging to both. I would not hesitate to refer any possible student to attend this course.

I feel that most animals are lost to shelters because of a lack of training. Possible I can help to solve this problem at least in part. I always wanted to be self employed and feel this will give the basis to achieve that goal.

Hi my name is Sheila Johnson. Petropolis Grooming Academy was one of the best choices I have ever made. They have given me a very rewarding career that I love. I knew nothing when I started but walked out with a  full understanding of what it takes to be a pet stylist, including the right tools to do the right job. I highly recommend Petropolis to anyone who loves animals and is looking for a rewarding career. It was easy to find a career in this field after I finished the academy, and now I work for Petropolis.
